What is the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP)?

OINP is an immigration program for people who have a job offer in Ontario for them to also find the perfect skilled worker for their business. In this program, employers or investors apply to recruit or retain people who are foreign nationals or temporary residents. If the province of Ontario approves an application, they will nominate that person for permanent residence. Once you have been nominated by the Ontario government, you must then apply for permanent residence with the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Take note that successful applicants from these streams will receive an official provincial nomination which they can use to apply for a permanent residency in Canada.
