REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be registered in the federal Express Entry pool
  • A valid job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer
  • Have at least a post-secondary educational background
  • At least 12 months of full-time work experience related to the job offer under NOC skill level 0, A, or B

Skilled Worker
Foreign nationals who has experience under NOC skill level 0, A, or B that intends to settle in Newfoundland and Labrador falls under this category. Aspiring immigrants must first be accepted into federal Express Entry pool.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer
  • Language Proficiency with a passing score of CLB 4 or higher for NOC C or D
  • Required accreditation or certification for the specific trade of occupation applied

International Graduate
Foreign nationals who have graduated or at least completed half of their post-secondary study from an approved Canadian educational institute or University can apply to this stream. Aspiring immigrants must have a job offer or is currently employed in a Newfoundland and Labrador employer.

  • A valid job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer
  • Language Proficiency with a passing score of CLB 4 or higher
  • Have at least a post-secondary educational background

International Entrepreneur
Foreign nationals that have entrepreneurial and business expertise and intends to start, purchase and manage a business in Newfoundland and Labrador may apply.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Language Proficiency with a passing score of CLB 5 or higher
  • At least a high school graduate
  • At least two (2) years of work experience in managing or owning a business or at least five (5) years work experience as a senior business manager
  • Investment worth of $200,000 CAD and Personal net worth of $ 600,00 CAD

International Graduate Entrepreneur Category
Foreign nationals who are graduates of a Newfoundland post-secondary institution may apply for permanent residency under this category. However, aspiring immigrants must have at least one (1) year experience in owning or managing a business in the province.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Language Proficiency with a passing score of CLB 5 or higher
  • Have at least a post-secondary educational background
  • At least one (1) year experience as business owner or manager
