Federal Skilled Trades
The Express Entry Federal Skilled Trades Program is specifically designed for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade.
How does this program work?

Meet the required language levels which include writing, reading, speaking, and listening. Minimum score for this program is CLB 5 for speaking and listening; CLB 4 for reading and writing.
Have at least 2 years of skilled work experience in Canada
Your work experience in a skilled trade must be full-time or of equal amount in part-time, and within the 5 years before you apply.

This program is preferably for workers with skilled work experience, i.e industrial, electrical and construction trades; maintenance and equipment operation trades; supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production; processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors and central control operators; chefs and cooks; as well as butchers and bakers.

The Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program is perfect for those who have been nominated by a province or territory, holding a nomination certificate from a particular province.
How does this program work?

If you have been nominated by a province, make sure to confirm your nomination under the Nomination and Selection section of the profile.
Have your nomination confirmed by the province/territory
After submitting an Express Entry profile, contact the province/territory directly and give them your Express Entry profile number and Job Seeker Validation Code.

Accept the nomination
Once you accept the nomination, you will then receive a letter in your account that confirms your notification and you will be awarded with an additional 600 points and this will get you a higher chance of being invited.
