In a recent development, three Canadian provinces have taken a significant step forward in their immigration strategies by nominating candidates for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Furthermore, 300 Express Entry candidates were selected from the Priority sector – Tourism and hospitality occupation, with a minimum CRS score of 408 and above. Another draw targeted candidates in the Priority sector – Construction occupation, showcasing Alberta’s multi-pronged approach to filling critical labor market gaps.
Manitoba’s Comprehensive Selection
Manitoba solidified its commitment to diverse immigration by sending out 623 letters of advice through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). Impressively, the province welcomed 178 Express Entry candidates among them, reinforcing Manitoba’s reputation as an inclusive destination for skilled workers. Notable draws included invitations to 256 Skilled Workers in Manitoba with specific National Occupational Classification codes. These codes spanned diverse categories such as General trades, Mail and message distribution, and Helpers and laborers, underlining Manitoba’s strategic selection process. Additionally, 250 Skilled Workers were selected through a non-occupation-specific draw, demonstrating the province’s commitment to various industries.
