The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has recently conducted several Express Entry draws, inviting candidates from various programs to apply for permanent residency in Canada. These draws have seen fluctuations in minimum Comprehensive Ranking Scores (CRS), creating opportunities for a diverse pool of applicants. August 15 Express Entry Draw

  • In the most recent draw held on August 15, the IRCC extended invitations to 4,300 candidates across all programs within the Express Entry system. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) required for eligibility was set at 496. This draw continues to reflect Canada’s commitment to attracting skilled individuals from around the world.

August 2 Express Entry Draw

  • On August 2, the IRCC focused on candidates with French proficiency, issuing 800 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) from the Express Entry pool. Eligible candidates were required to possess a minimum CRS score of 435. This draw showcased the Canadian government’s dedication to promoting bilingualism and linguistic diversity within the country.

August 1 Express Entry Draw

  • August 1 saw an all-program Express Entry draw, inviting 2,000 candidates from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Candidates with a minimum CRS score of 517 were selected, indicating the government’s openness to a wide range of skilled workers.

July 11-12 Express Entry Draws

  • In a two-day span, the IRCC conducted two significant draws. On July 12, 3,800 ITAs were issued under a category-based selection draw for French-speaking candidates, with a minimum CRS score of 375. Simultaneously, on July 11, another all-program draw granted 800 ITAs to candidates with a minimum CRS score of 505, emphasizing the ongoing opportunities for qualified applicants.

July 4-7 Express Entry Draws

  • The first week of July showcased unprecedented activity, featuring multiple draws. On July 7, a targeted draw for French-speaking candidates resulted in 2,300 ITAs with a minimum CRS score of 439. Additionally, healthcare professionals were invited on July 6, with a CRS threshold of 463. On July 5, STEM professionals were the focus, receiving 500 ITAs with a minimum CRS score of 486. July 4 marked another all-program draw, inviting 800 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 511.

June 27-28 Express Entry Draws

  • In late June, the IRCC continued its draws, targeting specific categories. On June 28, the first-ever targeted category-based draw invited 500 candidates with healthcare work experience, setting a minimum CRS score of 476. The previous day, June 27, witnessed an all-program draw that extended 4,300 invitations with a minimum CRS score of 486.
