OINP issued Invitations of the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream

 In News

In a move to attract top talent and foster academic excellence, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has recently issued invitations to potential candidates who qualify for the Masters and PhD Graduate streams. The invitations were sent to individuals within the Expression of Interest system pool, provided they met the designated score thresholds.

On June 6, 2023, the OINP sent out invitations exclusively to candidates in the Expression of Interest pool who demonstrated exceptional potential in their respective fields of study. To be considered for the Masters Graduate stream, candidates needed to have obtained a score of 46 and above. Similarly, for the PhD Graduate stream, the threshold was set at 42 and above. These high standards ensure that only the most qualified individuals are selected for these esteemed academic programs.

Candidates who have received an invitation to apply are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility requirements outlined on the Masters Graduate or PhD Graduate stream pages. Additionally, it is vital for applicants to refer to the document checklists associated with their desired stream to ensure they possess all the necessary mandatory documents.

To commence the application process, candidates are instructed to log in to the OINP e-Filing Portal and access their newly generated file number, which will be distinguished by the prefixes NMAS or NPHD. It is important to note that this application file number is distinct from the Expression of Interest (EOI) file number. Applicants should not be alarmed if the EOI file number (EOI-NMAS-XXXXXX or EOI-NPHD-XXXXXX) appears grayed out, as this is an expected display feature and not an error.

The OINP strongly advises candidates who have received an invitation to apply to refrain from directly contacting the program. All the necessary information and guidance can be found on the dedicated stream pages and document checklists, providing applicants with a comprehensive understanding of the application process.

These invitations mark a significant opportunity for aspiring scholars and researchers to pursue their advanced studies in Ontario, Canada. The Masters and PhD Graduate streams offer a gateway to a world-class education, enabling candidates to contribute their unique perspectives and expertise to Ontario’s thriving academic community.

Candidates who have received invitations are urged to submit their applications promptly, ensuring that all required information and documents are accurately provided. The OINP eagerly awaits the arrival of exceptional students who will enrich Ontario’s educational landscape with their diverse backgrounds and talents.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program remains committed to facilitating the immigration process for highly skilled individuals and positioning the province as a premier destination for academic and research pursuits.
