Latest Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Draw of 2023 Invites 539 Applicants for Permanent Residency

On May 4, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted its latest draw, inviting a total of 539 applicants to apply for permanent residency (PR). Among these, 204 profiles held a valid Express Entry profile along with a job seeker validation code.

The MPNP draw consisted of four categories through which applicants were invited:

  1. Skilled Workers in Manitoba – Occupation Targeted Draw
  2. Skilled Workers in Manitoba – All Occupations
  3. Skilled Worker Overseas
  4. Skilled Workers in Manitoba – Occupation Targeted Draw

In the first category, a total of 252 invitations were extended to candidates, with a cutoff score of 606.

The targeted profiles for this draw included individuals currently employed in occupations falling under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021. The list of NOC codes/occupations considered for the draw on May 4 is as follows:

In the second category, which encompassed all occupations within the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, 199 applicants received invitations, with a cutoff score of 650. This category encompassed all MPNP profiles that were not selected in the occupation targeted draw.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program continues to facilitate the immigration process for skilled workers and provides opportunities for individuals to contribute to the local labor market and community. The program’s draws are designed to select candidates who possess the necessary skills and qualifications to thrive in Manitoba’s diverse industries.
