Canada Immigration Update: IRCC Holds the First Express Entry Draw of April.

Today, in a “no program specified” round of invitations, the first Express Entry draw of April 2023 invites 3,500 profiles for permanent residency (PR).

The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) cutoff rises by 5 points to 486, primarily due to a decrease in ITAs.

28,000 invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued in March 2023, and the CRS cut-off score was reduced from 490 to 481.

However, the cutoff score has increased again after a two-week pause caused by the creation of new Express Entry profiles and the halving of the ITAs.
