The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is an immigration program designed to allow Manitoba to select and nominate skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and their families for permanent residence in the province. The program is run by the Manitoba government in partnership with the federal government of Canada.

The MPNP offers several streams through which individuals may be nominated for permanent residence. These streams include the Skilled Worker Stream, the Business Investor Stream, and the International Education Stream. Each stream has its own eligibility requirements, application process, and criteria for selection.

To apply for the MPNP, individuals must first create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile, which assesses their eligibility for one or more of the program’s streams. Candidates are then ranked based on factors such as language proficiency, education, work experience, and adaptability to life in Manitoba. The highest-ranked candidates are invited to apply for nomination through regular draws held by the MPNP.

Overall, the MPNP is a popular and effective pathway for skilled workers and entrepreneurs to gain permanent residency in Manitoba and contribute to the province’s economy and communities.
