Ontario offered NOI to EE Skilled Trades candidates

Express Entry is a popular and efficient immigration system used by the Canadian government to manage and process applications from skilled workers who want to immigrate to Canada. It is designed to make the process of obtaining permanent residence in Canada more efficient and faster for skilled foreign workers.

The Express Entry system is a points-based system, which means that applicants are assessed on a set of criteria and are given a score based on their qualifications and experience. The higher the score, the better the chances of being selected for permanent residence.

To be eligible for the Express Entry program, you must first meet the minimum requirements, which include:

Language proficiency: You must demonstrate your proficiency in English or French by taking a language test. The test results must meet the minimum language requirements set by the Canadian government.

Educational qualifications: You must have a post-secondary education or higher, such as a diploma, degree or certificate. The education must be recognized by a Canadian institution or an equivalent foreign institution.

Work experience: You must have at least one year of skilled work experience in a specific occupation. Your work experience must be in a National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill level 0, A, or B occupation.

Age: You must be at least 18 years old.

Once you have met the minimum requirements, you can create an Express Entry profile online. Your profile will be assigned a score based on factors such as your age, education, work experience, and language proficiency.

If your score meets the minimum cutoff score for the latest Express Entry draw, you will be invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The cutoff score is determined by the Canadian government and varies with each draw.

Once you receive an invitation to apply, you have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence. The Canadian government aims to process most Express Entry applications within six months.

In summary, the Express Entry system is an efficient way for skilled foreign workers to immigrate to Canada. It is a points-based system that assesses applicants based on their qualifications and experience. If you meet the minimum requirements and your score is high enough, you will be invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
