OINP UPdate: Ontario Invited 615 candidates in certain occupations to Apply for its FSSW program.

The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program, now known as the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), extended invitations to 615 Francophone Express Entry profiles in two new targeted draws held on March 16.

These are the first two draws of the year for the OINP, which target French-speaking Express Entry candidates with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 291 and 449.

These draws considered Express Entry profiles created between March 16, 2022 and March 16, 2023.
In addition, Express Entry profiles with 98 NOC codes in health, education, finance, technology, and other occupations with high immigration demand.

Ontario selects profiles directly from the Express Entry pool; there is no separate application for this draw.
To receive 600 additional points, however, invited Express Entry profiles must apply and claim the provincial nomination from Ontario.
