What is Express Entry.
Skilled professionals applying for permanent residency in Canada use Express Entry, an automated system.
The federal government assesses Express Entry eligibility after a candidate uploads an online profile. The Comprehensive Ranking System ranks Express Entry applicants (CRS). The government ranks Express Entry candidates using the CRS, a points system. Age, education, work experience, language skills, and other characteristics determine the CRS score. The Canadian government invites the highest-scoring Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residency every two weeks.
