OINP Update: Ontario invited 1,252 candidates to apply for its PNP through Skilled Trades Stream

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) routinely monitors the Express Entry pool of Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for individuals who may fit the requirements of one of Ontario’s Express Entry immigration streams.

If they identify you in the pool, you will receive a notification of interest in your Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada online account.

However, receiving a notification of interest does not guarantee eligibility of one of the steams.

What to do next if you receive a notification of interest.
If you are eligible under the Ontario Express Entry stream for which your notification of interest was sent, you may submit an online application to the OINP after receiving a notification of interest. Your application must be submitted within 45 days after receiving the notification of interest.

On January 13, 2023, OINP issued targeted notifications of interest to candidates who may be eligible for Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades stream. Candidates only received a notification if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 336-506, and work experience in the national occupational codes (NOC)

If you are a foreign national with Ontario work experience
in an eligible skilled trade. Better to learn how to apply
for a nomination for permanent residence.
