The lottery for the 2022 Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) is now complete

The IRCC has concluded the distribution of 23,100 invitations to apply to sponsors in the 2022 PGP pool. The invitations to apply were sent aiming to reach the goal of accepting up to 15,000 complete applications. The lottery was conducted between October 12 and October 20. The potential sponsors were invited from the pool of 155,313 remaining potential sponsors who submitted an expression of interest through IRCC’s website back in the Fall of 2020.

If you have received an invitation to sponsor your parents and grandparents, submit your applications by December 24, 2022.
