Ontario invited 30 entrepreneurs in the latest OINP draw

On August 16, 2022, Ontario issued invitations to 30 candidates to apply under the Entrepreneur Stream. For this round, all eligible for consideration expressions of interest were received and scored by August 8, 2022.

The candidates received invitations only if they scored between 138 and 160.

Candidates who received a notice that they were eligible to receive an invitation to apply but did not receive it due to low scoring (below 138), still remain eligible to be invited for 12 months from the date it was submitted to the OINP.

The OINP Entrepreneur stream is for overseas entrepreneurs who would like to start a new business or buy an existing one in Ontario.
