Canada Holds Its Latest Express Entry PNP raw and Invites 500 Plus Candidates
It was recently announced by Immigration Minister Sean Fraser that invitations for the candidates under the Express Entry Federal Skilled Worker Program and Canadian Experience Class will resume by early July. It was also mentioned that they were expecting the majority of the applications under the Express Entry pool will be processed within the six-month standard.
With that, the Canadian government is holding bi-monthly Provincial Nominee Program draws, and on May 11, 2022, Canada invited a total of 545 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence. A PNP nomination was previously received by the candidates; with that, the minimum score requirement for this draw is at least 753 points. The minimum score for this draw is relatively high due to the previous nomination to which the candidates automatically received additional 600 points that were added to their score. Without the said nomination, the lowest-scoring candidates would have only 172 base points.
