Recently, British Columbia updates the guidelines for the province’s Provincial Nominee Program. Below are the key economic factors that help support the attraction as well as retention of workers that will provide economic benefit to British Columbia. As an economic immigration program, The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program is designed to help meet the needs of the labor market as well as the economic development priorities of British Columbia

 

Points for the skill level of the British Columbia job offer are determined by the occupation that is identified in the applicant’s job offer. An applicant’s occupation is also classified in different levels depending on the National Occupational Classification (NOC) of the individual’s work position. Below are the additional points that are available for Senior Management occupations in the “00” NOC skill type, individuals whose current employment is in British Columbia, and the employer in the occupation identified in the British Columbia PNP registration.

If you are in need to change your registration information, such as your contact details, the information you declared on your registration is locked as soon as you submitted your registration. Once submitted, the BC PNP will not make any further corrections to the information in your registration as well as the category under which you registered will not be changed. You will be needing to withdraw your application and re-apply if you will be needing to change your registration other than the information captured in your BC PNP profile.
