As released recently through Canada’s Express Entry levels in 2022 -2021, the country is aiming to welcome a total of 55,900 new immigrants through the programs managed by Express Entry. Not to mention the additional 83,500 Provincial Nominee Program immigrants that are expected to be welcome in Canada this 2022, even though not all of these new immigrants will come through Express Entry.

February 16, 2021 – The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its latest round of Express Entry draw and invited a total of 1,082 immigration candidates from the Provincial Nominee Program having a Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) requirement of 710 points to apply for permanent residency. The minimum score requirement is quite high due to the additional 600 points they received from their recent nomination.

This fourth draw held by Canada is the third time in a row that a PNP draw was able to break a record for most of the invitations. Two weeks ago, the IRCC held a draw that held the highest record with a total of 1,070 invited PNP candidates invited to apply. The said invited candidates for this latest draw were given 60 days to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
