Ontario and B.C Invited 1,000 Plus Immigration Candidates In Its Latest Round of Invites

January 27, 2022 – Ontario province held its latest round of invites through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and invited a total of 1,032 immigration candidates who may qualify for a provincial nomination through the province’s Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream. For a candidate to receive an invite, one must have a Comprehensive Ranking System score of between 381 and 461 points. Candidates who were able to submit their profiles between January 27, 2021 – January 27, 2022, were invited by Ontario.

 

The said invited candidates will automatically receive 600 CRS points that will be added to their total score. With the additional points they received, they will now be eligible to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) specific Express Entry draw. Candidates who received an invitation now have 45 calendar days to apply for provincial nomination.

 

On the same day, Manitoba held its latest round of invites. Through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), the province invited candidates across its three Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Below is the list of the results per program along with its minimum cut-off score according to Manitoba’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system:

 

  • International Education Stream – a total of 40 invitations sent having no score requirement
  • Skilled Workers Manitoba – a total of 212 invitations having a minimum score requirement of 609 points
  • Skilled Workers Overseas – a total of 63 invitations sent having a minimum score requirement of 703 points

 

Among these above-mentioned invitations, a total of 69 invitations were issued to candidates in the Express Entry system.
