Prince Edward Island Held Its First Scheduled Draw Of The Year

January 20, 2022 – PEI held its first PNP draw through the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program and invited a total of 132 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Most of the invitations were given t the candidates of Express Entry and Labour Impact, they received a total of 121 invitations combined. While the remaining 11 invitations were given to the Business Impact candidates who had a provincial score of at least 72 points.

 

The Prince Edward Island PNP schedules its draws for the whole year and the draws for this year were just recently revealed and this was the first scheduled draw of the maritime province. Looking back in 2021, the province has invited a total of 1,804 immigration candidates, to which 1,697 of which came from the Express Entry and Labour Impact streams, while the remaining 157 candidates came from the Business Impact stream.
