Details of Alberta’s First PNP Draw Is Out

January 5, 2022 – Alberta held its first Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw and invited a total of 250 Express Entry candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program, candidates who have a Comprehensive Ranking System score of at least 327 points were invited. In addition to this, candidates who received an invitation may qualify for a provincial nomination through the Alberta Express Entry system.

The candidates who received a nomination will surely be one step closer towards Canadian permanent residence. These provincial nominees will be able to apply for Canadian immigration through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Immigration candidates who received a provincial nomination get bumped to the top of the pooling system and be able t receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
