Prince Edward Island Releases Its PNP Schedule for 2022

Recently, Prince Edward Island released this year’s schedule for its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). It’s the only province in Canada to release its draw schedule ahead of time. The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) customarily follows its schedule, however, in 2020 when the pandemic happened, the province was not able to fully follow its schedule due to the halted operation around the globe.

As per the announcement, we can anticipate 12 draws from the PEI PNP this 2022. These draw aim to invite immigration candidates who may qualify for a provincial nomination under either one of the three categories, namely: Express Entry, Labour Impact and Business Impact. Below are the specific PEI PNP draw schedule that was released by the province:

In the previous year, Prince Edward Island was able to invite a total number of 1,804 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Of these held nominations, a total of 1,697 invited immigration candidates came from the Labour Impact as well as Express Entry streams; while the remaining 157 immigration candidates were from the Business Impact stream.
