Canada PNP: A Summary of November Immigration Results
For the month of November alone, almost 3,000 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination were issued by Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program. So far, the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship has been doing PNP-specific Express Entry draw every two weeks on average. In the month of November, the IRCC held two Express Entry draws that targeted PNP candidates, with that, they were able to issue a total of 775 invitations to apply on November 10, and an additional 613 invited candidates on November 24, 2021. Ontario province did not issue any invitations through PNP streams hinting that the province may have reached its nomination quota for 2021.
Meanwhile below is a summary of draws held by the province:
British Columbia
A total of six draws were held by the province that resulting in a total of 861 invited candidates to apply for provincial nomination through its Skills Immigration and Express Entry British Columbia streams. This number is almost close to the number of issued invites every month since the start of 2021.
Manitoba
In the past month, Manitoba held two separate draws on through International Education Stream, Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas. Specifically, these said draws were held on November 1 and November 18 that resulting in a total of 849 issued Letters of Advice to Apply, and 143 of which is issued to the candidates who have declared their valid Express Entry profile.
Saskatchewan
Among the other provinces, Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program held the largest invitation round of the year through its Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry sub-categories of the International Skilled Worker Category and was able to issue a total of 633 invitations to apply for provincial nomination.
Alberta
For the month of November, the province held only one draw on November 9, 2021, through the Express Entry Stream of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) and invited 200 immigration candidates having a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of at least 343 points.
Prince Edward Island
A pre-scheduled draw was held on November 18 and the province issued 188 combined invitations to all immigration candidates. A huge number of the invitation went to the Express Entry and Labour Impact with a total of 172 invited candidates; while the remaining 16 invitations went to the candidates under the Business Impact who had a minimum score of 67 points.
Newfoundland and Labrador
Three results of the province’s first three draws held under the Priority Skills Newfoundland and Labrador stream were released in November. To date, Newfoundland and Labrador have invited a total of 663 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination.
