British Columbia Invites 10,000 Plus Immigration Candidates To Date
Launched in May 2017 as a pilot project, The BC PNP Tech is a fast-track immigration pathway for all in-demand tech workers as well as international students. For a candidate to be considered qualified for the stream, they must be registered in one of British Columbia’s existing provincial immigration streams and must also have a valid job offer of at least one year in any of the 29 eligible occupations in the province.
November 30, 2021 – British Columbia held their latest draw and invited a total of 89 tech workers having a minimum score of 78 points for provincial nomination through the BC PNP Tech which is a stream under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), in addition to this, Invites for this draw were from the International Graduate and Skilled Worker subcategories. Invited candidates through this draw must meet all the requirements of either one of British Columbia’s Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC categories that are being managed through the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS)
All invited candidates were given 30 calendar days to apply for their nominations. To date, British Columbia has already issued almost 11,000 invitations to apply for provincial nomination.
