Quebec’s Arrima Draw Invites More Immigration Candidates
The Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program is said to be popular among international graduates and skilled workers who wanted to permanently immigrate to Quebec to work. This program is for all the skilled workers who are most probably to start their lives economically in Quebec.
October 27, 2021 – The Quebec Ministry of Immigration released the details of its recent draw that was held on October 21. Through the first round of invites under the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program, the province has invited a total of 23 immigration candidates to apply for permanent selection. An expression of interest in the Arrima pool must be filed by the candidates who received an invitation to apply for permanent selection by the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI).
Candidates having a valid job offer outside the Montréal Metropolitan area as well as those who live in Quebec as a consular official, diplomat, United Nations representative, or representative of any intergovernmental organization that is operating in the province are also targeted by Quebec and sent out invitations through Arima. So far, this latest draw of the invite is Quebecs’s 11th of the year. Most draws were held in the second part of 2021, Quebec invited more than 500 immigration candidates making this the smallest draw held in 2021. To date, a total number of 3,223 immigration candidates has now been invited by Quebec to apply for permanent selection.
