600 Plus Candidates from Manitoba and PEI Receive Provincial Nomination Invitation

The previous week, two Canadian provinces held their latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws and invited a number of candidates to apply for provincial nominations.   Provinces of Manitoba and Prince Edward Island held their recent draws separately on the same date – October 21, 2021, and the results are now released.

Manitoba’s new round of invitations was held through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)  that resulting in a total of 459 invited immigration candidates within the three Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Specifically, the results of this draw are as follows:

  • International Education System – 37 invited candidates having no score requirement
  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba – 388 invited candidates having a minimum score of 375 points
  • Skilled Workers Overseas – 39 invited candidates having a minimum score of 716 points

A total of 94 invitations among these went to the candidates from the Express Entry system. With this draw, Manitoba has now issued 9,150 invitations in 2021.

Meanwhile, Prince Edward Island held their second-biggest PNP draw of the year, inviting a total of 204 immigration candidates for provincial nomination through the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). A huge part of the number of invites went to the Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates, inviting a total of 195 immigration candidates; while the remaining 9 invitations went to the Business Impact candidates who scores at least 72 points in PEI’s immigration system.

To date, this is PEI’s tenth PNP draw for 2021, having a total number of 1,541 invited immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination. In connection to this, Prince Edward Island’s next draw is expectedly on November 18, 2021
