A Number of BC Tech Workers Receive Invitations for Provincial Nomination
BC PNP Tech is a fast-track immigration pathway for all in-demand tech workers as well as international students who wanted to migrate to Canada. This program is made by the province of British Columbia to attract high demand and experienced foreign workers and provide opportunities to all those who wanted to live and work in British Columbia and give them a path towards permanent residence. Also, this program helps tech sector employers in British Columbia to attract and eventually select qualified applicants that are locally not available.
October 19, 2021 – British Columbia held their latest draw and invited a total of 85 tech workers to apply for provincial nomination through BC PNP Tech, a stream under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). Invited candidates through this stream must meet the requirements of either one of British Columbia’s Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration categories that are both managed through the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS). A minimum score of 75 points is needed by the invited candidates from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories and they were given 30 calendar days to apply for the nomination.
Since the start of 2021, British Columbia has already issued a total number of 10,000 invitations to apply for provincial nomination.
