September 28, 2021 – British Columbia held two draws for Provincial Nominee Program and invited 422 immigration candidates. A part of the province’s PNP program, British Columbia has been doing two separate rounds of draw since February 2021. This is because of the high number of candidates having a certain kind of occupation under the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). To balance the needs in all sectors of the provincial labor market, British Columbia has added a new draw.

In the general draw, immigration candidates from the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skill Immigration (SI) streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) received an invitation. Specifically, these invitations were sent to candidates of the International Graduate, Skilled Worker, and Entry Level and Semi-skilled sub-categories of Skilled Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) streams. A total number of 386 immigration candidates having a score between 69 – 90 points were invited.

Meanwhile, the separate draw that was also conducted under the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC)  has targeted immigration candidates having an occupation that falls under either NOC 0631 and NOC 0621. This draw resulted in a total of 36 invited immigration candidates having a score of 105 points. To date, British Columbia has already issued a total number of 9,083 invitations through the different categories under the BC PNP streams.
