Ontario’s new PNP draw invites 995 immigration candidates from two Job Offer streams
There are two Job Offer Streams in Ontario, one is a Foreign Worker Stream that is open to all foreign nationals who holds a valid job offer from an employer in Ontario province. For a candidate to be qualified, one must at least have two years of work experience in a skilled occupation. The second stream is called International Student Stream, which is also open to all foreign nationals that have a valid job offer from an employer in Ontario. To be eligible, one must have completed a program from a Canadian Designated Learning Institution (DLI).
September 21, 2021 – A new round of the Provincial Nominee Program draw was held by Ontario province that resulted in a number of 995 invited immigration candidates applying for provincial nomination. Candidates who had a profile in the Expression of Interest (EOI) pool were invited by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and the said candidate might be qualified for one of the two Employer Job Offer streams.
Specifically, 406 immigration candidates who may be eligible for the Foreign Worker Stream were invited and for these candidates to be considered, they need to have at least 37 points. In this draw, there were location requirements and targeted occupations required as this was a general draw. Through the International Student Stream, another 523 invitations to apply for a nomination in a general draw, and to be invited, candidates must at least have an Expression of Interest (EOI) score of 61 points. While the remaining 66 invitations were given to the immigration candidates who were registered to the Regional Immigration Pilot who may qualify for the two same Employer Job Offer streams; 36 invitations went to the foreign workers while 30 invitations were issued to the international students.
