Quebec’s Recent Draw Invites 517 Candidates Through EOI System Arrima
The Quebec Ministry of Immigration recently held its draw through Arrima and details have just been released. Over the four weeks, this draw was the fourth one under the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP). This fourth round of invite resulted to 517 invited immigration candidates to apply for permanent selection by Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) having an Arrima pool score of at least 499 points
Through the Arrima, the recent invitations that were sent out were given to all candidates that have a valid job offer outside the Montréal Metropolitan Area and also candidates whose occupations are currently in high demand in Quebec. Below is the list of the said targeted occupations along with their NOC codes.
- Information systems analysts and consultants (NOC 2171)
- Database analysts and data administrators (NOC 2172)
- Software engineers and designers (NOC 2173)
- Computer programmers and interactive media developers (NOC 2174)
- Web designers and developers (NOC 2175)
- Graphic arts technicians (NOC 5223)
- Graphic designers and illustrators (NOC 5241)
- Technical sales specialists – wholesale trade (NOC 6221)
- Computer and information systems managers (NOC 0213)
- Electrical and electronics engineers (NOC 2133)
- Industrial and manufacturing engineers (NOC 2141)
- Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers) (NOC 2147)
- Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians (NOC 2241)
- Computer network technicians (NOC 2281)
- User support technicians (NOC 2282)
- Information systems testing technicians (NOC 2283)
- Producers, directors, choreographers, and related occupations (NOC 5131)
Just recently, Quebec has been conducting weekly draws through the Arrima EOI system, wherein the number of invited immigration candidates exceeds 500 – remarkably more than any of the other draws held this year. To date, this is Quebec’s 9th draw of the year and has invited a total number of 2,664 immigration candidates to apply for permanent selection.
