Three Canadian provinces hold its latest PR draws separately

Quebec held its latest Express Entry draw, and details were only released last August 25, 2021. The result of the draw invited 502 immigration candidates to apply for their permanent selection through The Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) under the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) stream. For a candidate to receive an invitation, a candidate’s Expression of Interest must be registered to Quebec’s online registration portal, Arrima.

Meanwhile, British Columbia held its draw last August 25, 2021, resulting in 74 invited immigration candidates for provincial nomination having a minimum provincial score of 80 points. The said candidates were from the International Graduate and Skilled Worker sub-categories working in key technology occupations. Invitations issued to all candidates were made through the BC PNP Tech under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). Candidates who received an invite were given 30 calendar days to apply for the said nomination.

The last province that recently held its draw was Ontario. The province held its second Master’s Graduate stream draw last August 25, 2021, and invited 326 immigration candidates under the Master Graduate stream. For a candidate to be invited, one must have an EOI score of at least 37 points. Candidates were given 14 days to apply for the provincial nomination and pay the application fee amounting to $1,500.
