Ontario’s EOI System Expands and Includes Master Graduate and PhD Graduate Streams

Good news to all Ontario graduates who hold a job offer in the province! With the expansion of Ontario’s EOI system, they can now register and get an opportunity to receive a provincial nomination under the two additional programs.

Ontario’s new Expression of Interest (EOI) has added the Master Graduate and Ph.D. Graduate streams along with the three other programs, namely: Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand Skills.

Given that Masters Graduate and Ph.D. Graduates are now part of the EOI system, eligible candidates can now register for Ontario immigration at their convenience. The candidate’s rank will be based on the EOI system’s scoring matrix. Among other factors, they will earn points through their education, work experience as well as their intended destination in Ontario province. For Ontario to pinpoint the candidates who have the experience and skills to thrive in Ontario’s labor market, the province ranks all the candidates in such way.

Just like any other EOI registration and application, candidates are not guaranteed to receive an invitation to apply for the provincial nomination once they are registered in the system as their profiles are yet to be validated for 12 months in Ontario’s EOI pool.
