New CEC Draw Invites 3,000 Candidates for Permanent Residency
Since the start of 2021, Canadian immigration has only held draws for either Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) since candidates of the said programs are most likely living in Canada already.
August 5, 2021 – New Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw was held by Canada resulting in a whopping 3,000 immigration candidate invites. In connection to this, all invited candidates must be eligible for CEC having a Comprehensive Ranking System score of 404 points.
Compared to the recent CRS requirement, the previous CEC draw required all invited candidates with a CRS score of only 357 points and it was tied with the second-lowest score for the CEC draw last February 13, 2021, the lowest recorded score; eligible candidates were invited and the lowest score was only 75 points.
As per the tie-break rule of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), candidates who have submitted their profiles before August 3, 2021, were the only ones invited given that they passed the required minimum scores for the draw.
