Alberta PNP Draw Invites 148 Immigration Candidates in Recent Draw
July 27, 2021 – The province of Alberta held its latest draw and details have been already released. As a result of Alberta’s recent draw, the province has sent out a total number of 148 invitations to apply to Express Entry candidates having a Comprehensive Ranking System score of at least 300 points under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).
The said invited candidates can now submit their application for provincial nomination through the Alberta Express Entry System. Though the required CRS score plunged to 300 points, the province still invited fewer immigration candidates compared to the previous draws.
Due to the global pandemic, Express Entry draws took a pause in the latter months of 2020. It was only in January of 2021 when Alberta resumed its invitation draws. Now, the province has already invited a total number of 2,761 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Within the duration of the year 2021, the province of Alberta is allowed to issue 6,250 nominations and a few months before the year ends, Alberta still has a lot of slots to send out invites to qualified applicants.
