Express Entry holds new CEC draw with second lowest CRS score to date

 In News

July 22, 2021 – Canada immigration held another draw and sent out invites to all Express Entry candidates under the Canadian Experience Class to apply for permanent residence.

For a candidate to receive an invitation to apply, one must be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). 4,500 candidates having a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 357 were invited.

Since the pandemic, travel exemptions and other public health measures were implemented to secure the health and safety of Canadians. With that, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has only been holding draws under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) because candidates under these categories are most likely already in Canada.

From the previous CEC invitation draw, Canadian immigration was able to invite 4,500 candidates having a CRS score of 369 making this recent draw the second-lowest score cutoff requirement for a CEC draw ever.
