Largest EOI draw held by Ontario
The Ontario Province sent out a total number of 1,685 invitations to apply for provincial nomination to international students and temporary foreign workers with profiles in their own Expression of Interest (EOI) system.
All candidates holding a valid job offer in rural communities, international students and foreign workers were the targets of Ontario’s three major Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams. Candidates who have profiles in the EOI pool were invited. All invited candidates have the possibility to qualify for one of the two Employer Job Offer streams.
To date, this is the biggest number of invitations sent out under the Job Offer stream. The biggest number of invites having a total number of 1,211 were sent to candidates who may be eligible for Foreign Worker Stream. Candidates under this stream must have an EOI score of at least 33. The said draw was general which means there will be no location requirements as well as targeted occupations.
Meanwhile, the remaining 431 candidates were invited to apply for a nomination having a general draw through the International Student Stream. Candidates under this draw must have an EOI score of at least 62 for them to be invited.
Instructions for submitting a complete PNP application were issued by the Ontario province following the release of the latest draw results. Candidates who are applying for the Employer Job Offer stream are instructed to submit a printed and signed PDF copy of an attestation form. The application will be returned and marked as incomplete if the said form was not submitted. In that case, the application fee will be refunded and the candidate’s opportunity to apply to the said program will be lost.
