BC PNP Invites 387 Candidates in Latest Immigration Draw
Invites were sent to candidates under the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) of the British Columbia province. Candidates from Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and even Entry Level and Semi-Skilled subcategories of SI and EEBC were given invitations to apply.
British Columbia has sent invites to a total number of 6,169 immigration candidates to apply for their provincial nominee program. Since February, the province has been conducting two different draws of invites under the BC PNP program — a general draw and a draw that targets retail and wholesale trade managers and also restaurant and foodservice managers.
This is due to the high number of people registered in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) under the said occupations. British Columbia aims to balance the needs in all sectors of the provincial labor market resulting in the additional draws that the province hold.
A total number of 342 candidates having a minimum score that ranged between 75 to 92 points were invited for the first draw while the second separate draw had a total number of 45 invites having a score of 108 from candidates under SI and EEBC categories with occupations that fall under NOC 0621 or NOC 0631.
