Alberta Provincial Nominee Program Invites 148 Immigration Candidates

Alberta released details that they invited a total of 148 Express Entry candidates having a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of only 302 were invited by the Alberta Provincial Nominee Program last June 29, 2021. The said candidates can now apply for provincial nomination through the Alberta Express Entry system.

The recent draw had fewer candidates and a somewhat higher CRS requirement compared to Alberta’s previous draw for Provincial Nominee Program. Earlier in 2020, Express Entry draws in Alberta have been into temporary pause and now the province has already invited 2,432 EE candidates to apply for provincial nomination since the draws for invites resumed last January 2021.

In 2021, Alberta is allowed to issue 6,250 nomination certificates. However, some candidates were not able to meet the eligibility criteria.
